This video was inspired by early 2000s RPGs. It was produced in Unity with assets being modeled in Blender, and Miximo. The idea of the trailer is to build suspense and suspicion of the world that the game inhabits, starting slow and eerie, then crescendos into a dramatic fight for the hero's life.
This Dragon was independently modeled following a course by GameDev.Tv. The model was made using Blender, and was modeled at different levels of detail. The full detail model has 15 million triangles, but then the model in the picture has only 40 thousand. This was done to optimize performance in game engines and was done using a texture and normal map bake from the high detail model.
These two pieces are part of a set of 8 different assets, all designed to be tileable together to build any interior scene. Pictured are a corner, and closed doorway. Other tiles in the set include a closed hallway, various hallway intersections, and even single wall tiles for the edges of a larger room.
